Blank Stage Productions, in association with ASV Communications, is proud to present a documentary about The Artisan Resource Center, an inspiring story of the working artist. The center is home to 25 unique working artists who share studio space in this converted bottling plant. The center prides itself on the collaboration of artists and boasts several amazing works of art. The documentary highlights a handful of these artists and provides a glimpse into the day-to-day goings on of this organic center.

HISTORY
The idea of creating a video about the Artisan Resource Center came to Producer Brent Brooks after getting to know many of the artists at the center while volunteering some of his time to work for John Schmedes of TellTale Theater and performing regularly with the resident improv comedy troupe, Comedy Cobb. "There was just something very unique about this entire complex of diverse working artists, who all kind of knew each other and seemed to care about what the others were doing," Brent states. Brent mentioned the idea to his roommate Jantzen Gianfrancesco, Associate Director for ASV Communications, a video production company in Atlanta, who agreed to help out in any way he could. Using high definition cameras and a complete lighting and audio kit graciously donated by ASV Communications, Brent and Jantzen began work on the project, conducting in-depth interviews with several of the artisans, capturing their catalog of works, and filming them in their work environments. After weeks of writing and editing, the end result is an inspirational documentary that portrays a collection of artists who truly love what they do.
